MUST READ: Manga+Press 2.5 Bugs and Issues

Well, this just made my day. I’ve discovered a few bugs/issues with Manga+Press 2.5 that I think people should be aware of. Please note that I am not absolutely sure of the severity of these bugs because I have one installation where they’re not appearing and another installation where they are appearing. Since the two installations in question are my webcomic site and the demo (this site), it could be a problem with having two WordPress installations under the same domain name, since the demo is a sub-domain of my webcomic site. Featured Comics

This is new feature of Manga+Press, where every so often I’ll feature a web comic, whether or not it uses Manga+Press. I’ve got a few different candidates for first featured comic, but regardless of that, I am taking submissions if anyone wants to have their comic featured.

Manga+Press 2.5 Released!

I didn’t think I’d be able to do but I did. Manga+Press 2.5 has been released! Though please note if you’ve just downloaded a copy within the last hour, you might want to re-download. I had some issues with the Subversion server where it wasn’t deleting the old files so I had to delete my local copy, check out a new version and go through some other rigmarole to get it working again. Subversion might be a great tool for version control but there are times where I really do hate it :( Anyway, here’s a roll-down of the new features: Read more →

Delayed: Manga+Press 2.5 release

I know I said it was supposed to be this past weekend but I’m juggling school and another project related to my webcomic. Because school is promising to be pretty busy this quarter, I am going to tentatively delay release until the end of August or September.

Sorry for the delay but hopefully, the wait will be well worth it.

Manga+Press 2.5 update 2
